Despite entering their maiden continental adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding win that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight passage to the last 16, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.

Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
