Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple international courses and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that her participation brings the sport to different demographics, especially reaching the next generation.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and recently launched her own fashion and living brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
